Caney Bottom Lodge is a beautiful lodge that overlooks our private lake – perfect conditions to get you in the hunting mood upon your arrival.  Together our Executive Suite and VIP Room can sleep up to twenty-two guests at one time.   Aside from these two bunkhouses, we have the Honeymoon Suite which is a small, two-person room set up especially for our women guests and couples.  We also assure your group’s privacy by sleeping separate groups in separate rooms.  For your convenience, an onsite washer and dryer have been provided along with five full baths.
 

Inside, the main conference room is more like a wildlife museum. We have over thirty wild game mounts and many pieces of wildlife art that have been collected over the years at DU and NWTF banquets. We also have satellite TV that stays on either the outdoor networks or ESPN and a wrap-around porch allowing guests to sit outside on warm evenings and watch the ducks roosting on our 143-acre lake. Among other amenities provided by Caney Bottom Lodge is a steak dinner with all the trimmings for overnight guests.  Additionally, there are always some sweets to satisfy that sweet tooth craving that may hit you at anytime.  The morning of the hunt, we provide a small continental breakfast beforehand just to keep you going.  Afterwards, you can expect a large country breakfast steaming hot and just waiting to meet that hunger from the long morning.
 

Here at Caney Bottom Lodge, we use our attractive building for more than just hunts.  Each year we host several group meetings including family reunions and large corporate meetings. Caney Bottom Lodge is much larger than most homes making it ideal for family reunions.  With the addition of the lake, the kids now have two places to go fishing – the lake and a small dog pond full of perch and bream.  We also have a playground with a slide, monkey bars, swings and a fort created especially to keep small children occupied. Our bunkhouses are available for your out-of-town family members.  When you rent the lodge for your gathering, your family can use the whole place for the duration of your booking. The lodge will be clean and ready when you arrive.  We also provide tables and chairs so you will have the space you need for your family to eat.
 

We get many bookings a year in advance, and it is important to make your plans as early as possible.  Though the weekends are especially busy during the off-season, we encourage you to call even if it is last minute, and you just might get lucky!
