Caney Bottom Lodge has several different hunting packages to meet all your hunting needs.  These hunts do not include your out-of-state hunting license. Please look at the bottom of the page for license prices.  Licenses are available to be purchased at the lodge.  These hunt packages are all-inclusive other than your clothes, gun shells and license. Our days book up very fast after the release of the waterfowl season; therefore, we must have a 50% deposit to reserve your date.  These reservations insure your dates and help to avoid others from getting your choice dates.
 

The Basic Hunt is our half-day hunt. This consists of a morning duck hunt or a morning or afternoon upland bird hunt with three options: you are allowed either 10 quail, 4 pheasant, or 6 quail and 2 pheasant. This hunt includes transportation to and from the blind or field from the lodge. During the afternoon hunts, you are given water and snacks for a refreshment break.  We also provide a professional guide and the dogs for your hunt. After the hunt, we take a group photo with your kill. Breakfast or lunch is served while our staff processes your birds.

Our Deluxe Hunt includes an overnight stay in our beautiful lodge overlooking our private lake.  On the evening of your arrival, you are greeted by our professional staff to help you get settled into either the Executive Suite or the VIP Room. After getting settled in your room, we sit down to a hot steak dinner cooked to your liking with all the trimmings.  This package includes a morning duck hunt or a morning or afternoon upland bird hunt that allows you either 12 quail, 6 pheasant, or 8 quail and 2 pheasant.  For the Deluxe Hunt, we provide transportation to and from the blind or field from the lodge. During the afternoon hunts, you have a refreshment break with water and snacks.  We also provide a professional guide and the dogs for your hunt. After the hunt, we take a group photo with your kill. Breakfast or lunch will be served while our staff processes your birds.

The Ultimate Hunt is the best of what Caney Bottom Lodge has to offer.  This hunt is designed to give you a whole day of shooting excitement. Your day is filled from daylight to dark with almost non-stop hunting.  Your experience begins upon arrival to our beautiful lodge where our staff helps you settle in, and then you sit down to a hot steak dinner cooked to your order with all the sides.  Next we relax and exchange hunting stories before settling in for a good night’s rest. The next morning we head out for what one our clients described as a “classic duck hunt.”  We begin with a morning in the blind shooting ducks and watching our wonderful labs retrieve your kill.  After the hunt, we head back to the lodge and sit down to our almost legendary country breakfast.  While you are eating, our guides prepare everything for your afternoon upland bird hunt which allows you either 15 quail, 4 pheasant, or 10 quail and 2 pheasant. This hunt is truly an action-packed day.  We also provide transportation to and from the blind or field from the lodge. During the afternoon hunts, you have a refreshment break with water and snacks.  We provide a professional guide and the dogs for your hunt. After the hunt, we take a group photo with your kill. 

Caney Bottom Lodge also offers special teal season/dove shooting combos. This is some fast-flying, hard-driving action.  It is the ultimate shot-gunners challenge with morning teal shooting and afternoon dove shoots.  This season is usually in mid-September so give us a call to book today. These hunts include full accommodations like the Deluxe Hunt and Ultimate Hunt.

Caney Bottom also offers unbelievable dove hunts. We plant about two hundred aces of millet and sunflower fields that are the calling card for hundreds and thousands of dove. These hunts are do-it-yourself hunts. We provide the fields and the birds; you provide everything else. The out-of-state fees are $75 for a 5-day pass or $100 for 1 year from the date of purchase. This does not include your federal stamp which is $15.  We recommend the one-year license because you can book the next year’s hunt before your license expires, and it only costs $20 to purchase a new state stamp if you already have your federal stamp.  These fees are set by the AGFC, and we are required to purchase them, too. There are no license requirements if you choose just to shoot the quail and/or pheasant.  That is a $75 to a $100 savings if you choose this option, and it is guaranteed shooting.
 

* A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking. Bookings that are cancelled 3 weeks prior to the date booked will be rescheduled ( depending on open dates being available). Deposits are not refundable.
